Chloe Moretz: You Will Know Her Name

Most people were very excited to hear of a Carrie remake starring Chloe Moretz.  I, on the other hand was slightly torn.  I really enjoyed the original and really was not sure how the remake was going to play out.  However, I am a big fan of Chloe Moretz as an actor, so I really thought she could pull off the role of a tormented teenager.

Danielle Harris: Horror Icon

Many fans of the horror film genre think of Danielle Harris as a scream queen, I think of her more as a horror icon.  She started in the horror genre over 25 years ago with her portrayal of Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4.  She has come a long way since then, playing in over 25 horror films as well as a role in the web series Fear Clinic along side horror film legends Robert Englund and Kane Hodder.

The main reason for this is that theaters needed a way to increase ticket sales because most people decided to stay home and watch television.  They used the 3-D technology to differentiate the cinemas from home theaters.

Will the Financial Success of the Evil Dead Remake, Lead to More Remakes?

-->
After my blog about computer-generated effects (CGI), I went out and watched Evil Dead again.  Although there was some CGI in there, I really dug the film even more the second time around.  I am a fan of the majority of the remakes of American horror films, but I feel that Evil Dead is by far the best of the bunch.
